Week Of Outfits / Olivia Delyamu

Welcome to Week of Outfits, a regular column wherein I ask stylish women with closets filled with thrifted, vintage, and sustainable clothes to document their outfits for a week. Today’s installment features Olivia Delyamu, Sales and Operations Manager at Océanne Jewelry and owner of Ode Vintage.

MONDAY

All items: Thrifted
Necklace: Oatmeal

“I know it’s controversial, but I love a good denim on denim ensemble!. I feel like it’s an excellent backdrop to have more bold accessories. Today I kept it pretty simple since I’d be doing a lot of non-glamourous tasks at work (read: inventory). I think this look works for a variety of occasions and lends itself to being built upon – depending on how funky I’m feeling.”

TUESDAY

Quilted Coat and Pants: Secondhand via Plato’s Closet
Top: Thrifted
Clutch: Secondhand via Poshmark
Necklace: Océanne

“I didn’t work today, so I only left the house for the opening of Mason’s Creamery Ramen Shop at night! It was a little cold, and I wasn’t sure if we’d have to wait outside, so I wore my new favorite (and extremely warm) forest green quilted coat. I remember a customer had this coat a couple of years ago and when I saw it on a mannequin at Plato’s Closet, I knew I had to buy it!”

WEDNESDAY

Top, Pants & Shoes: Thrifted
Hat: Rose Bowl Flea Market
Necklace: Océanne

“Another day, another denim on denim look. I am definitely channeling my Texas roots with the bolo and hat!”

THURSDAY

Clutch: Secondhand via Poshmark
Shoes: Thrifted
Loop Cardigan: Target

“I repeated one of my denim outfits for work and changed into something a little more fun for an evening birthday celebration! I became obsessed with finding a ponyhair foldover clutch after seeing a Clare V. version in the movie Ingrid Goes West. Instead of scrolling on IG, I spent many a night on Poshmark, Depop, and eBay looking for an option that wasn’t expensive, and my hard work was rewarded with this Poshmark find! It’s my go-to clutch for an evening out, and it’s roomy enough to carry all that I need.”

FRIDAY

Dress: Village Discount Outlet
Vest: Thrifted
Shoes: Thrifted
Necklace: Océanne

“I had to work all day, so a cute outfit always makes it more bearable! This dress and the one yesterday were lucky Village Discount Outlet finds. I generally don’t pay much attention to the “new” items they sell because of the questionable quality, but maxi dresses are my weakness, and I couldn’t pass up two long sleeve versions! Much like the aforementioned pony hair clutch, finding patterned maxi shift dresses is an obsession. I remember an outfit of the day series on A Cup of Jo where the woman profiled said she felt her sexiest in oversized clothing, and I agree. I feel much more feminine and sexier in a loose-fitting shift than something form-fitting.”

SATURDAY

Hat: Old Navy (from a long time ago)
Basquiat Tee: Depop
Jeans: Topshop from Poshmark
Coat: Marshall’s

“I volunteer at my church, which involves being outside during all types of weather, so warmth was vital today. Also, I went to the art museum and to see Queen & Slim later that evening, and a Basquiat tee seemed fitting.”

SUNDAY

Faux leather jacket: Amazon
Wild Wild Midwest tee: Shop The Wolfpack
Jeans & Shoes: Thrifted

“Ahh, this faux leather jacket was yet another obsession. I found a perfectly worn-in jacket at Savers thrift earlier this year that I somehow ruined on a trip to SF and had to leave in the hotel room because the whole back started to peel off. The one I’m wearing is what I settled on after MONTHS of trying out more secondhand and new options. I don’t wear many tees, but this Wild Wild Midwest tee from Shop The Wolfpack captures me perfectly-Texas born and Midwest-raised!”

HOLIDAY PARTY

Jumpsuit & Coat: Avalon Exchange
Red boots: Thrifted (in Iceland!)

“These red boots are one of my favorite thrift finds. I went to Iceland a few years ago and found these in a charity shop. They ended up only being like $5 US, and since nothing else in the country is that cheap, I think they were meant to come home with me! I also bought an Ohio State sweatshirt at the same shop haha!”

Thank you Olivia!
